ALL PUBLIC MASSES WILL BE CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. Masses will be livestreamed on our YouTube channel.
Please note that the Cardinal continues to dispense you from the obligation of attending Sunday Mass.
Message from the Pastor
This is an important message concerning an update from the Cardinal. Given the success of the Christmas (brief) communion services, he has given permission to resume them on weekends during this period. In order to situate adequate space for these 5 minute services, we have to make a slight change to our live-streamed Masses. Starting this weekend, the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord, we will only live-stream the Saturday 4:30 p.m. each weekend. However, the Mass, once live-streamed, remains on the website for later viewing all weekend. I wanted to ensure at least one weekend Mass was live-streamed. Please also note, parishioners have to register, individually, for one of the communion services. If more than one in a family, EACH person has to be included in the count, since only 8 persons are allowed, in total, per service. The leader of the service and the greeter at the door account for the additional two people making it 10 in total. The service will last 6 minutes or so, and will be spaced out every 20 minutes, to ensure persons enter safely and depart in time before the next group.
Please arrive a few minutes before your allotted time, and ensure you wear a mask; a greeter will have your name, on the reservation list; no walk-ins are permitted; sanitize your hands, and then go directly in front of the altar to stand and spread out in designed spots that have been marked for this purpose to ensure social distance. Please ensure you follow all guidelines concerning health requirements before coming to church.
The communion service will include a brief prayer, reading of the Gospel, and the reception of communion. This will also be your opportunity to see the new Statue of St. Joseph to commemorate the Year of St. Joseph. Once you leave, you may leave by the parish hall; if you wish, you may also pick up your 2021 Offertory Envelopes or a new Sunday missal on tables in the hall. I look forward to seeing you.
