"If angels could be jealous of men, they would be so for one reason: Holy Communion." - St. Maximilian Kolbe
"The Eucharist is the source and summit of our Christian life. The other sacraments, and indeed all ecclesiastical ministries and works of the apostlate, are bound up with the Eucharist and are oriented toward it. For in the blessed Eucharist is contained the whole spiritual good of the Church, namely Christ himself." (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1324).
Children are normally prepared to receive the sacrament of First Holy Communion in Grade 2. Our pastor and Sacramental Coordinator work together with parents and teachers to prepare students of our three Catholic elementary schools, as well as students from our local public and private schools, to receive Jesus Christ in the sacrament of the Eucharist.
For more information about this sacrament (registration and classes), please contact Kimberly Go, our Sacramental Coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
For the year 2018, First Holy Communion will be celebrated on either Saturday, May 5 at 11:00am OR Sunday, May 6 at 2:00pm.
